Catholic Women Association (C.W.A)

As part of their works of charity and social responsibilities, the Cape Coast Archdiocesan Catholic Women Association (C. W. A.) visit the seminary twice every year in the rosary months of May and October. These visitations offer them the opportunity to deepen their spirituality as they come to pray the rosary at the seminary's grotto and also interact with the seminary formators and seminarians.
On October 22, 2011 the C. W. A. visited the seminary for their spiritual exercise and also used the occasion to make some presentation to the seminary, which included food stuffs, soaps, toiletries and a cash donation of GHc 471.00 as their widow's mite.
The Vice Rector, Rev. Fr. Andrew Awotwe - Mensah, on behalf of the seminary, received the presentation. He thanked the group and intimated that the seminary ran on the generosity and providence of her benefactors and benefactresses. He continued that he was personally touched whenever the group came to visit the seminary; and that it showed that they had the welfare of the seminary at heart and that they did recognise the enormous challenges facing the seminary and also appreciated the work being done in the seminary.
On her part, the leader of the C.W.A. assured the seminary of their continued support. She advised the seminarians to uphold discipline, hardwork and take their studies seriously so as to achieve their goal of becoming priests.
